The Kurdish Global Network for Development (KGND) is an independent, non-political civil network established to connect Kurdish professionals, academics, entrepreneurs, and civil society actors across the globe. KGND was founded in response to a long-standing challenge facing Kurdish communities worldwide: the fragmentation of talent, knowledge, and institutional capacity. While Kurdish individuals have achieved success across many fields internationally, their collective potential has remained largely uncoordinated and underutilized. By building structured connections between the Kurdish diaspora and Kurdistan, KGND transforms dispersed individual experience into coordinated, long-term collective impact. The network provides platforms, standards, and programs that enable collaboration across borders, disciplines, and generations. KGND operates with a strong commitment to transparency, professional governance, and international best practices. Its work focuses on strengthening civil society institutions, supporting youth leadership and education, enabling innovation and entrepreneurship, facilitating knowledge transfer, and producing credible data and development-oriented narratives about Kurdistan.
